Inhaler Live in Allentown, PA! // Open Wide Tour 2025

Irish alternative rock band Inhaler recently performed their first-ever show in Allentown, PA, closing out the Open Wide North American Tour with an unforgettable night. I've been wanting to see Inhaler live ever since I first discovered their music in 2022, and I'm so happy I finally got the chance to experience their show in person.

This Fall 2025 leg of the tour focused on cities across the U.S. that the band hadn't visited before, and I was very excited to see my hometown on that list. It was in support of their latest album Open Wide, which has quickly become one of my favorite releases of the year. Hearing those songs brought to life on stage only made me love them even more than I already do!

They performed at Archer Music Hall, a brand-new venue that opened earlier this year. A local band from the Lehigh Valley called Just also opened the show and I loved getting introduced to their music through this show and can't wait to dive into more of their work in the future!

Inhaler has such a great energy when they perform, their music really does feel like it was made to be heard live and they radiate such an infectious energy on stage. Instrumentally they are also one of the best I've seen too, all four of them are so talented. The show was non-stop high energy the entire time, starting with the title track off of their latest album called "Open Wide". It was such a bold and anthemic performance that set the tone for the rest of the night.

The setlist was a great mix of songs from all three of their albums, I loved finally getting to hear some of my longtime favorites like "Love Will Get You There", "Who's Your Money On? (Plastic House)", "Totally", and "My King Will Be Kind". The band even played "Perfect Storm", a deep cut from their sophomore album that they rarely include in their live shows anymore. It was such an unexpected and exciting moment!

They also played several tracks off their newest album, including "Eddie In The Darkness", "Billy (Yeah Yeah Yeah)", "Little Things" (which was dedicated to Harry Styles, of course), and my personal favorite, "X-RAY".

The latter half of the show was packed with some of my all-time favorite Inhaler songs, especially "Dublin In Ecstasy". If you're new to their music and wondering where to start, I'd highly recommend beginning with this one, it's my personal favorite and easily one of the biggest highlights of the night. The guitar riff in this song is already iconic, but hearing it live somehow made it hit even harder.

As they played it, the stage lit up in green, white and orange, the colors of the Irish flag, which felt so fitting and brought the song to life in such a perfect way. Eli, the lead singer, even jumped into the crowd and held the mic out to someone in the crowd to sing the bridge, "I only wanna speak if you have the time, I only wanna fight if it’s for your life".

I also loved getting to hear "My Honest Face" as the final song of the main set. It was the first track I ever heard from Inhaler, and all these years later, it still holds up as one of their best. There's something so full-circle about hearing the song that first introduced me to their music now performed live! The energy during that moment was absolutely electric.

For the encore, they returned with "Your House" from Open Wide, which is a track that has such an anthemic quality to it that translates so beautifully live. Finally, they performed the title track off of their debut album titled "It Won't Always Be Like This", which was such a great note to end on. This was another one of the first songs I ever heard from the band and it felt so special to be able to hear it live after all these years.

Thanks for reading! Be sure to check out my full album review of Open Wide by Inhaler and more linked here and below. I always love sharing my concert photography and live music experiences here and I especially love how the photos from this show turned out. I have a couple more exciting concerts coming up this year that I can't wait to write about as well and I hope you'll come back soon to check it out!
