KYLIE COSMETICS KYLIGHTER & BLUSH // REVIEW

I've tried quite a few Kylie Cosmetics lip products (which I love) - but this was my first time trying anything else from the brand.

Kylie Cosmetics Kylighters, Blushes, and Bronzers are sold  online at KylieCosmetics.com & online and in-stores at Ulta, where I purchased mine. They come in 6 shades each and would compliment a wide range of skin tones.

The original Blushes and Kylighters were released a few years ago, but they were recently reformulated and repackaged. I really love the new packaging of both of these products. It doesn't feel like a junky plastic component that would break - it actually feels sturdy and like it would last a long time. There is also a mirror inside, which is so helpful and is something I utilize everyday when doing my makeup.  The pale pink color is so pretty and fits so well with the rest of the brand's aesthetic.

The powders are also imprinted with the iconic Kylie Cosmetics drips, which is such a cute personalized aspect to the products!

Princess, Please // Kylighter // $20

Swatching this highlighter really won't do the product justice. The swatches can look a little bit chalky and like nothing special at first. In my experience, I have found this to be the case with most powder face products. This product really shines when you apply with a brush! It gives such a beautiful natural shine to the skin, and doesn't look powdery or cakey throughout the day. To make the shine more prominent, I recommend layering it on top of a cream highlight base.

The ultra-intense glittery metallic highlight can be fun sometimes, but isn't practical for day-to-day casual makeup - which is why I love this highlight so much. It gives the shine I want on my face, without looking like I have too much on. It does have a small amount of glitter in it, but it doesn't apply like a strip of glitter on the face like some highlights can. In the sunlight it just adds a little extra sparkle!

I have "Princess, Please", which is a beautiful pale pink shade that compliments my very fair skin perfectly. My go-to highlighter brush is the Real Techniques Setting Brush.

Baddie on the Block // Blush // $18

Out of all the blushes I've tried, this formula is my all-time favorite! It has the perfect amount of pigmentation and lasts all day - even in the humidity and heat of the summer! I also love to layer this with the Flower Beauty Liquid Blush Bombs to make this product even more long-wearing!

I have the shade "Baddie on the Block", which is a mid-toned pink. Like I said before, I have very fair skin and this blush compliments my skin tone perfectly. It's not too bright and not too pink, so it leaves a very natural finish on my skin.

It's a very buildable formula so you won't apply too much of the product all at once. I love blush, so I usually apply two layers for the perfect flushed look.

Overall, I absolutely love both of these products and would highly recommend them to anyone interested. The only downside I have is the price - even though they're more affordable than most high-end brands, it is definitely a lot more expensive than drugstore prices. I would recommend buying during one of the many sales on the Kylie Cosmetics website or using coupons/reward points at Ulta like I did to make the price more reasonable. Otherwise, they're very high quality products that have become some of my all time favorites in my makeup collection!
