CELEBRITY HALLOWEEN COSTUMES 2018: BEST DRESSED

Happy Halloween! In today's post I'm going to be sharing a few of my favorite celebrity costumes from this year! Enjoy!

My favorite from this year was Harry Styles dressed as Elton John at the Casamigos Halloween Party. He wore a custom Gucci Dodgers uniform to replicate what Elton John wore in 1975 during his show at Dodgers Stadium. This costume actually suits Harry's style so well, I hope he wears more outfits like this on his next next tour!

This year Bella Hadid & The Weeknd went as Beetlejuice & Lydia - it was one of the best couple costumes I've seen this year. They have had so many iconic fashion moments together and this is one of my absolute favorites!

I also loved all of Kylie Jenner's costumes this year - especially the matching butterfly costume she had with her daughter Stormi & as a life-size Barbie!

Jeffree Star's Halloween costume was one of the coolest I've ever seen. It was done by makeup artist Cole Carrigan (who is so talented, I highly recommend checking out his other Halloween looks from this year). He actually cut up a $1,000 Louis Vuitton bag for it! That part was painful to watch haha. He filmed the whole process and posted it on his channel, which was awesome to see it all come together!

This year, Perrie Edwards of Little Mix transformed into Ursula from the Little Mermaid. I love the pop-art style of the makeup - it looked so realistic!

 Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner went as Gomez and Morticia Addams this year and they looked incredible! Who else would love to see them in an Addams Family remake? I know I would!

"Denial Is A River" by Doechii // Song Review

Doechii 's "Denial Is A River" is a sharply written story of her deeply personal struggles she has faced throughout her life, especially over the past few years. All while doing so, she also incorporates so much of her signature humor within it too. She is such a dynamic and captivating storyteller, one that is simultaneously very funny and clever, but also very real and honest.  In an interview with  Rolling Stone , Doechii opened up about the time in her life that inspired this song. "With 'Denial Is a River,' I felt some fear there because it's really me being extremely literal and vulnerable about my situation. It is a very vulnerable thing, especially as an artist," she said. The release of Justin Bieber 's My World 2.0 was a defining moment in pop culture history and signified the birth of one of the biggest phenomenon's the music industry has ever seen. My World 2.0  had an undeniable impact on music trends of the early 2010s and truly solidified him as the voice of a new generation. "California" by Joni Mitchell // Song Review

Joni Mitchell wrote "California" all over the world, each verse was written in a different country and vividly depicts both the physical and emotional place she was at in those moments. From France, to Spain, to Greece, she writes a travelogue of her time in each country, but continuously wishes she were home in California instead. "Sitting in a park in Paris, France, reading the news and it sure looks bad," Joni sings in the opening lines of the song. "They won't give peace a chance, that was just a dream some of us had". She wrote this song in a very conversational, stream-of-consciousness style.
