FLOWER BEAUTY: LIP PRODUCTS REVIEW
In today's post I'm going to be sharing my review on 3 different lip products I've tried from Flower Beauty. Enjoy!
Petal Pout Lip Color // $8.99
I have tried so many different lipsticks through the years - especially from the drugstore - but this formula is one of my absolute favorites. It wears all day long, which can be hard to find with traditional lipstick bullet formulas. It has a matte finish, but is so comfortable on the lips. I would say its most comparable to an old favorite of mine, the Clinique Long Lasting Soft Matte Lipstick, which has a very similar formula and wear time (unfortunately Clinique discontinued this a few months ago). The shade I have is called Berry-More which is so cute since the brand was created by Drew Barrymore.
The packaging also feels so much more luxurious and high-end than any other product from the same price range and above. This has been one of my most used lipsticks over the past few months!

HydraSilk Ultimate Lip Butter // $9.99
Whenever I wear red lipstick I typically only ever used a long-lasting matte formula. However, I've been wanting to try a more comfortable and hydrating one that is better for everyday use. I bought the shade Poppy Petal, which is a bright red with orange undertones. The formula doesn't last anywhere near the amount of time liquid lipsticks last, or even the Petal Pout Lip Color that I mentioned previously. So, if you eat or drink anything, you will eventually need to reapply it. It has a moisturizing balm-like finish that feels weightless on the lips, but has the pigmentation of a regular lipstick. With just one swipe, you will have full opacity. Sometimes with more hydrating lip products, it can bleed outside of the lip line or smudge all over your face if you aren't careful - however, I haven't found that to happen while wearing this. The only thing I would be cautious of is making sure the color doesn't transfer on your teeth after first applying it. If you're looking for an fun pop of color for the summer, then I highly recommend this one!

Galaxy Glaze Holographic Liquid Lip Color // $9.99
This is by far the most beautiful lip gloss I ever used. It is full of iridescence and sparkle that can be worn on its own or paired on top of any lip color to completely transform it. I love to layer this gloss on top of the previous lipstick I mentioned, the HydraSilk Ultimate Lip Butter in the shade "Poppy Petal" to turn it into a prismatic red. The shade I have is called Molten which has red and gold glitter infused in it, but there is no gritty feeling once its on the lips like other glitter-based glosses can be. My mom was the first to try it in the mauve shade Milky Way which is full of silver and pink glitter. She's been through at least 3 tubes by now - so there's proof as to how amazing this product is!

Overall from what I've learned about Flower Beauty, I really admire the story and ethics behind the brand. I briefly mentioned earlier that Drew Barrymore is the creator of the company and usually when it comes to celebrity makeup brands they tend to have higher prices just because of whose name is attached to it. Flower emphasizes consumer accessibility by making high-end products available at a low price. They just expanded their brand from being a Walmart exclusive to also being at Ulta now, so be sure to check it out! I have really loved everything I've tried from Flower so far and will definitely be purchasing from their brand more in the future and sharing my reviews here! Stay tuned for a review on their mascaras & concealer I've been using!
