My Thoughts on the Gigi Hadid x Maybelline Collection

Image
credit :  twitter.com/gigihadid Gigi Hadid has been the face of Maybelline for about 2 years and has been apart of several campaigns for the brand. I was really excited when I initially heard that Gigi and Maybelline collaborated on a full collection. I assumed that I would be able to recreate Gigi's makeup looks for less, but that just isn't the case. Today, I'm going to be giving my opinions on this collection to help you further determine if you should spend your money on it. The biggest gripe I have with this collection is that it is far too overpriced for Maybelline products. I have been noticing that some drugstore brands have been increasing the price of their new products, but I don't understand why since many times the brands aren't doing anything different to justify the large increase in the price. Maybelline does make some of my favorite products, especially when it comes to concealer and mascara, but they have also made really poor quality ...

Colourpop x My Little Pony Collection: Review

Image
I was so excited when Colourpop announced their newest collection, Colourpop x My Little Pony! I wasn't necessarily a big fan of My Little Pony when I was younger, but I was initially drawn to how beautiful and glittery everything was! Colourpop did a really great job with the packaging, I absolutely love the unit cartons (shown above) with all of the My Little Ponies on it and reflective rainbows.  My Little Pony Palette The My Little Pony 12-pan pressed powder eyeshadow palette is sold for $16, and consists of 4 matte shades and 8 shimmers/metallics. It was so surreal to actually be in Los Angeles and see all of these iconic places I have only ever seen pictures of before. It felt like I've been there before without ever actually being there, a feeling I have never had before when going to a new place. The trip was nothing less of amazing and I loved every second of it. Newark, NJ → Los Angeles, CA It felt so unreal to be landing at LAX after a 6 hour flight across the country. I couldn't believe all of my dreams were coming true in that moment. Once we got the bags and the rental car, it was already pretty late at night. the first thing we decided to do was go to the iconic West Coast fast-food chain, In-N-Out Burger. With it being our first time on the West Coast, it was basically a no-brainer that we had to try In-N-Out first! I ordered the ...
