Colourpop "Yes, Please!" Palette: Review

Image
Colourpop has constantly been coming out with new products this summer and I was so excited when they announced they would be coming out with the brand's first 12-pan pressed powder eyeshadow palette. It may seem that the beauty market is oversaturated with warm toned shadows, from the Anastasia Beverly Hills "Modern Renaissance" to the new Urban Decay "Naked Heat" palettes, however there aren't many options for those not willing to spend $50 on just one eyeshadow palette.  "Yes, Please!" retails for $16, which makes each shadow roughly cost $1.30 each. This is a great deal for eyeshadows that have the same quality, or even better, of high-end brands. Colourpop released single-pan pressed eyeshadows a few months ago, which retail for $5 each but have more product in it at 1.5g compared to the 12-pan size of .85g.  All of the shades are very pigmented and blendable with vibrant color payoff. 8 of the shadows are a matte fini...

My Favorite Lipsticks: #NationalLipstickDay

Happy National Lipstick Day! Listed below are my favorite lipstick formulas. Enjoy!  Kylie Cosmetics: Matte Liquid Lipstick & Metal Lipstick Many would doubt the quality of this product due to the all the hype it gets with Kylie Jenner's name attached to it, but my experience with her brand has been nothing but positive. There are many dupes for the matte liquid lipstick's such as the most popular comparison of the Colourpop Ultra Matte formula. While I would agree that the Kylie Cosmetics Metal Lipstick formula is identical to Colourpop's Ultra Metallic formula, Kylie's Matte Lipstick formula is much more comfortable and much less drying than the Colourpop alternative.Candy K is by far one of the most used lipsticks on this list, as I wear it nearly every time I put on makeup. It lasts all day and doesn't flake or crack off after a few hours. I rarely need to reapply throughout the day, as well. The Metal Lipstick isn't the best formula as it i...

My Favorite Makeup Products Under $5 (PART 1)

ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder- "Fiji Matte" For only $4, this is a great deal for a product that is very comparable to a high-end duo. Both of the blush and bronzing powder are long lasting with buildable pigmentation and complimentary on my fair skin tone. The bronzing powder also makes the perfect eyeshadow shade for my crease. It is also perfect for travel with the built in mirror and compact packaging!    Buy it here for only $4! Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder- "001 Transparent" I have used this pressed powder for over four years and is definitely my most repurchased product from my makeup collection. I have very dry skin all year round and it does a great job of setting my foundation/concealer without accentuating my pores or dry spots. It also does a great job of shine control without looking cakey, as I have seen on friends and family with oily skin. Buy it here for only $3.97! Colourpop Super Shock Shadow- "Wee...
